Thanks to our Volunteers

We would like to thank the Tryout Committee and all the volunteers  for their time and efforts in running both the conditioning camps and the tryouts. This is a complex process with lots of moving parts where many have given up time with their own families and missed their own children’s tryouts or activities.

Our association follows a detailed tryout policy that can be found on our website for membership review. As with any process we face challenges each year, this year being no different. The evaluation process as defined in the tryout policy is followed which removes any AMHA board member or affiliate with having any direct connection to the tryout results. . We trust that everyone will have a great year and can get back to enjoying a sport we all work so hard to uphold. Go Acadia Minor!

Update B/ Rec Rosters

At this time we would like to advise the membership that due to numbers we are unable to host B teams. Our chair of recreation is currently working on finalizing the Rec level rosters. This year we have experienced unique challenges in finalizing our rosters and having enough coaching staff. We thank you for your continued patience.

U7 Power Skating Registration

We have 10 additional ice times in the Gamecenter time slot and the association is going to offer a power skating program open to all U7 players.

There will be an additional cost to this.  It will be $100 and will provide an additional ten skates for your player.  This is the same as Gamecenter offers.

This will focus on the fundamentals of skating.  This is a great opportunity to get your players a bit of extra ice time focusing on the most important aspect of the game at this age.

Mark Mackenzie will be heading up this program and along with a lot of excellent coaches will ensure  that  the program is age appropriate for all three U7 divisions.

Due to the large number of U7 registrations this year we will unfortunately have to cap the number at 48 to ensure we are able to get all the kids the development they need during the ice time.  It will be first come first serve.
